State Bank of India made many big changes! : State Bank of India has now decided to completely remove the charges levied from its account holders, customers will no longer be charged for many of the bank's services.

State Bank of India recently told its customers through its official Twitter account that it will no longer charge SMS alerts and minimum balance charges from account holders. This means that there is no maintenance fee for SBI Savings Account and the bank has also said that to get rid of unnecessary applications, all account holders have downloaded YONOSBI today so that they can get all their account information.


According to an official tweet from SBI, customers will no longer have to pay fees for not keeping SMS alerts and not keeping a minimum balance. The bank has now completely abolished the charge for supporting service messages on the mobile number registered in the customer's account. The customer will no longer have to pay for this.


Savings account was charged for not having minimum balance -


Previously, State Bank of India account holders always maintained a balance of at least Rs 3,000. Previously, such customers who could not keep Rs 3,000 in their account were charged a maintenance charge and if it falls below 50 per cent (Rs 1,500) they have to pay a fee of Rs 10 and GST. If the balance in your account falls below 75%, you had to pay Rs 15 as fee and GST, but now you do not have to pay any extra charge.

How much did SBI SMS Alert Transaction Alert Charge used to look like before –

By giving details of transactions from every small and big account by the bank, it means that the account holders can know what is happening in their account, the bank informs this information to the customer through SMS. For this, the State Bank used to deduct quarterly Rs 12 plus GST charge from every customer, now after the new rules, this service will be given to the customers free of cost, they will not have to drink any kind of extra charges
