A total of 30 militants, including six foreigners, were killed in a huge explosion during training to build an Afghan mosque.
- The 6 foreign terrorists killed in the blast were experts in making bombs
- The body parts of the blasted terrorists were blown away during live bomb-making training
- 24 Taliban militants gathered at the mosque
A statement from the Afghan army said that a total of 30 militants, including six foreigners, were killed in a bomb blast during a bomb-making training exercise. The 6 foreigners killed in the blast were experts in making mine blasts and they were taking live training to bomb the Taliban terrorists.
The blast reportedly took place in the village of Kultak in Dolatabad, in Afghanistan's Balf province.
The six foreign terrorists killed in the blast during bomb-making training could not be identified. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a mosque, killing at least 24 Taliban militants and wounding six others.
A recent US report also said that the Taliban's offensive in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, had escalated and that a peace deal between government officials, civil society groups and the Taliban needed to be reconsidered. Taliban militants are demanding compliance with the US agreement and talking about withdrawing troops from Afghanistan. This will also happen when the time comes, said NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. NATO's stance has angered the Taliban and has led to an increase in terrorist attacks in Afghanistan.
