7 lakh forms of Talati-Clerk canceled: New recruitment process through vacancies.
The government has dissolved the district committee for recruitment in the panchayat and drastically changed the rules for handling power at the state level.
Rajkot Ta. 3: The State Government is dissolving the District Level Panchayat Selection Committees for the recruitment of Class-4 employees in Taluka-District Panchayats and has handed over all the powers to the Gujarat Panchayat Selection Service Board. The panchayat and law department are working to make new rules after the government passed the bill in the legislature.
In 2012, the government had invited applications for the posts of Panchayat Talati and Junior Clerk and received around one lakh applications for 0000 posts. The recruitment process has not progressed since then. It is learned that the government has decided to cancel all these forms and invite new applications and this will be done after its official announcement.

In 2015, it has been decided to increase the total space from 500 to 4000. Clerk - Apart from Talati, recruitment process will also be done for some other Panchayat workers. At that time, the total number of applications increased as each candidate was allowed to apply in more than one district. Applications will now be allowed in a single district.
The government wants to ensure that candidates who apply at that time are not treated unfairly with age limits or fees. Opportunity will be given according to the principle of natural justice. The government has sought information (demand letter) regarding district wise vacancies. Recruitment is taking place in various departments ahead of the 206th Assembly elections.
