In which 5 percent benefit in merit has been announced for widow sisters in teaching assistant recruitment. Education Minister Jitu Vaghani has given information about this by tweeting.

it has been decided by the state government to give additional 5% marks to the widows who have passed TET-1, TET-2 in the legislative recruitment. 50% of the marks obtained in the TET examination and 50% of the marks obtained in the educational qualification are taken into consideration to prepare the merit of the Legislative Assistant. In the total merit thus prepared, an additional 5% marks will be added to the merit of the widowed candidate. It has been stated. This decision has been taken by the state government with the aim of providing job opportunity to the widowed sisters as well which will be implemented from the next legislative recruitment.
