Signal No.-01

When the wind speed blowing at sea or on the coast is between 62 to 74 kmph, the alarm signal number eight is placed on the port.
Signal No.-09
When the wind speed is between 75 and 88 kmph, a warning signal number 09 is placed on the port.
Signal number-10
Signal number 10 is applied to the port when the wind speed blowing in the sea is more than 89 but up to 102 kmph.
Signal No.-11
The speed of stormy winds blowing in the sea is 103 to 118 kmph. When the wind is blowing at such a speed, signal number 11 is placed on the port.
Signal No.-12
When the wind speed is 119 to 220 kmph, signal number 12 is applied to the port.

Most of the signals up to number 11 are used in India. Sometimes the number 12 signal is applied. In 1946, considering the wind speed, it was decided to have a total of 17 signals. But most of the time the alarm signal is used only up to 12 numbers. In India, only signals up to number 11 are generally used
