Along with this, Gujarat Police has also shared a picture. In which it is written that, Gujarat Police is always on the side of women, make sure to do garba on Navratri, complain against any molestation by calling 181 Abhayam Mahila Helpline and get immediate help.  

Police formulated a plan for the safety of women

The police has formulated an action plan regarding the security system for women . During the nine days of Navratri, the police will watch in traditional dress to catch Romeo. At the place where Garba is being organized, different teams of all police stations will be deployed for the security of women. The women police party will be among the people in traditional dress on the plot and will keep a watch on the romeogiri. If any Romeo is found molesting or flirting with women in the Navratri festival, this SHE team immediately arrests him and puts him in jail.

According to a report, 181 Abhayam helplines have served more than 9.90 lakh women in the last 7 years and have become a real helpline for women in times of crisis. So far more than 1,32,827 women have registered on the app.
